Yeah, it's called the Monty Hall problem because it comes from Let's Make a Deal hosted by Monty Hall, which included a variety of games, specifically including a game of two doors with dud prizes and one with a good prize.

That's rough. I also tried to grow garlic, and while I did get a little yield, it was like three cloves per "bulb". It doesn't get cold enough for regular garlic here, so I tried to simulate a frost using crushed ice. Don't think it worked that well.

I tried to grow a Japanese pumpkin for myself once. It was going well until I got the vines mixed up during pruning while it was halfway to being the right size and I ended up cutting the vines it was actually attached to before it was ripe. At least my chilli growing's gone ok.
