Or have a label in each contact called Group and then just enter the name of the group there? Also on iOS when creating a Smart Folder not seeing a screen to set rules such something equals x and y but doesn’t include blah, etc? Or does that still have to be done on the app?

Ah I see. Yes visually that’s confusing since looks like it’s selectable. When the main contac lt area you make it smaller like this where it’s clear it’s not button. So if the add favorites the same the would probably make more sense.

Only downside is most orders these days are from Amazon, and for a while Amazon has stopped including info in order emails, other companies can’t utilize that info. So it won’t work with Amazon orders unless Apple and Amazon partner up on it somehow.

Vs Apple where they can simply do it on device so no privacy issue, since your emails are already on your device so Apple/third party wouldn’t need to access your data. But still get the benefit of it being automated. So I’m pumped.

That’s what I’m most excited for about Apple getting into this. Since forever there have many apps and services that will scan emails and offer order tracking, but I stopped using those a long time ago because of the big privacy concern and that data often getting sold.

Yes for power users parcel could still certainly have a niche but imagine must larger percent of parcel users would find iOS enough vs Flighty. But time will tell. Hopefully Parcel keeps enough user base to sustain it for users who need it. Doesn’t seem active in first beta so will see.

Not at all. At least not as a flighty app user since the update doesn’t offer 95% off what the dedicated app offers. But for non users who just wanted bit better widgets and indoor maps maybe they’d be less likely to buy dedicated app? On the other hand Parcel would definitely seem to be sherlocked.

That is where Apple needs announcements so we can get full @Sketch.com and @Panic.com Transmit / Nova / Terminal support on iPad. Also Apple needs Safari Web Inspector on iPad without a Mac. Until then still always need a Mac for dev unfortunately.

Love this. But left with amazing hardware and os but little to no pro apps to take advantage of it since devs continue to note the permission limitations and App Store restrictions make development not sustainable.
