Been reading "Great Expectations" and it feels kind of slow and meandering and I realized it felt episodic and that's when it clicked for me that these old serialized novels were basically the TV shows of their time.

If you receive a large blood transfusion how long do you have to wait for it to become "your" blood? If they did a blood test would it show antibodies from the donor?

Just recently read "The Cold Equations" by Tom Godwin and "Fondly Fahrenheit" by Alfred Bester and enjoyed them both.*

I have opinions and often want to blog or tweet or start a newsletter, but I really want to drink beers with my buddies where the context doesn't collapse all over me.
I think more people should just hang out in real spaces with friends. Where your words dissipate at the boundaries of the room.

I'm not one to see demonic activity and spiritual forces behind every rock and bush, but I do find troubling the religious language of the AI mavens, so I feel justified in making a religious critique.
