Someone on Twitter suggests that Trump could achieve the impossible. He stated that we should no longer trust the experts if Trump's tariffs succeed. However, history shows that heavy tariffs have been tried before and didn’t work out well.

So far, they’ve saved an estimated $140 billion—just 2% of the $7 trillion federal budget. He claims they’ll reach $1 trillion, approximately 13% of the federal budget, in savings before he leaves. [2/4]

Thirteen days ago, I checked out V.E. Schwab's 'The Near Witch' (254 pages) from the library thru Libby. Now, with only 8 days left, I'm only 32% done! The deadline is looming, and I'm a bit stressed. I'm aiming for 25 pages a day to finish. It's been enjoyable so far, so I'm determined to make it!

I've started watching 'Holland,' the psychological thriller, on Amazon Prime. It's about a woman, played by Nicole Kidman, whose seemingly perfect life in Holland, Michigan, takes a dark turn. I'm halfway through and looking forward to seeing how it ends this week. Stay tuned for my thoughts on it.

Trump is officially a president but…

No matter what Trump does, it will never serve the greater good—his actions are consistently driven by self-interest and disregard for the truth.

I shared it on Technogeek’s Provoking Thoughts page on Facebook. It discusses the anti-social behavior prevalent in today’s society. What are your thoughts on it?

I posted this on Technogeek’s Provoking Thoughts on Facebook. It's about bacon, which I absolutely love! I usually eat 2 or 3 rashers, and sometimes more if I'm in the mood, especially on weekends.

I shared a post on Technogeek’s Provoking Thoughts page on Facebook regarding the FDA's controversial ban on Red Dye No. 3, which will take effect in 2027. Did the FDA make the right decision? Companies will need to find alternatives—will that be beneficial or detrimental?

This could create a hostile environment where some students face bullying for their actions or beliefs. Additionally, the pressure to conform to these teachings may result in mental health issues for those who feel differently. (2/2)

If the school implements a Bible-infused curriculum, it may inadvertently lead to increased bullying. While the intention might be to teach love and moral values, students could feel compelled to confront their peers about behavior they perceive as sinful. (1/2)

If you want to say: What about Trump was one who initiated the WARP team to develop a vaccine quickly? Thanks, Trump, for one thing. He was done right, but he still handled the pandemic poorly.

Well, Trump forgot a couple of things:

• called COVID-19 hoax
• COVID-19 will go away…
• 98 million infected
• over 1 million deaths due to COVID-19 or its complications.
• supported no mask mandate in schools.
• encouraged them to take hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine for COVID treatment.

Good. I hope the Republicans know what they’re doing by approving Trump’s cabinet picks. FYI, they are not qualified and have no experience in their roles, and I bet that Trump would fire some for poor performance. It could turn into a circus at the White House, for sure!

I can't believe that Elon Musk went ahead and created an X account called D.O.G.E. before Trump is officially in office. He hasn't even taken the job yet! Sigh. (And yes, I am following this account to keep up with those tweets.)

However, Biden has an impressive popular vote numbers, 81 million. You could say that — that received the most votes ever for any Republican or Democrat president in history.

Still, congratulations to Trump for securing both the popular vote & the Electoral College! (2/2)

Claiming a president has the most votes in history can be misleading, as the U.S. population has grown significantly over time, naturally boosting vote totals. For perspective, the population was 226 million in 1980, 248 million in 1990, 281 million in 2000, and now stands at 331 million. (1/2)
