Yeah exactly. I'm not big on the whole "apple magic" bullshit since I use their products daily and the issues/shortcuts are just as obvious as with any tech company. But there still is an intentionality they have that others don't and it's been crazy seeing them deviate from that with AI.

I find most phone browsers hide tabs to the point that you don't even realize they're open until you accidentally hit the tab menu and see there's 50 of them lol

It pays to double check I guess lol

I think this is absolutely an intentional decision by YouTube to remove user control from how you consume content on the platform, as evidenced by the fact that they're currently testing AI sorted, prompt-based feed

Isn't it crazy how the 4K release of one of the most celebrated TV shows of the last 20 years wasn't paid enough to care about using the right source footage

Like damn bruh, we've slipped, fallen, and aren't getting back up

The point was more, 75 hours spent on a single game in a month is a lot and you should probably just chill out instead of getting doom and gloom, not "good things don't last"

Happy drumming

But more than anything, it's the social stigma and taboo of coexisting with kids in public that really bothers me

Having your kids with you in the workplace was literally how we evolved as a species and handed down knowledge for millennia

But now that we work in office buildings that's a bad thing

75 hours in like... a month... with a single post launch content update

it's insane

It really bothers me how adjusted people have become to games treating them like an employee instead of a paying customer

We're really lucky because we're a dual income household and I WFH

But if I didn't we would be absolutely COOKED by daycare costs for our youngest all because god fucking forbid they put play areas and subsidized daycare facilities in work or retail spaces

I just carry a ton of trauma as a parent because you literally have to "prepare" an entire away from home assortment of shit to make up for the utter lack of child-friendliness in the world.

Meanwhile, they literally make toddler seats for toilets that have dual seats for adults and kids...

It's genuinely challenging to bring young kids ANYWHERE

Most restrooms don't have accommodations for kids, so you need to bring a travel potty with you everywhere

There's no safe play areas in like 90% of stores, INCLUDING STORES FOR KIDS STUFF LIKE TOYS

Daycare costs like bruh holy fuck!?!!!!?!?
December 1, 2025 at 4:28 PM
I just have a serious disconnect from people like this because most games I'll play for like 20ish hours unless they're really cookin and then maybe it'll be like 50

And I literally cover games for a living lol

It feels like this trend of gamers that only play a handful of games a year started with Call of Duty and now everyone expects every game to be some sort of forever experience where it's all they play and they never get bored

Unless the game has an infinite skill curve like CS, that isn't realistic
