When something gets annoying or overwhelming... Take a break. You can do it later.

You weren't even born when I started drawing. And yeah, first steps ARE frustrating af, especially when you see the vision and can't bring it out on paper

And yeah, I did practice with observation and lots of messing around with watercolors and later with drawing software.

Reading this back and laughing so hard. He literally didn't listen when I offered him the same books I was obsessed with as a kid, the same books that made it look like I have some sort of natural gift, and said that is boring.

I kinda prefer bold outlines in my own drawings, because it helps with my shape and depth perception, also WTF, THAT WAS A SKETCH, WHY DID HE FEEL THE NEED TO COMMENT
