I have a confession to make: I find drawing backgrounds / nature (as in landscape genre) extremely triggering and not relaxing at all.
It might have something to do with my art teacher from twenty years ago who said I'll never draw portraits and I should focus on landscapes and still life.

I had a shitty art teacher. Did it discourage me from sharing my drawings? For a while, yes (imagine being 6-7yo and this grown ass loud lady tells you you are a talentless fuck, and you should focus on something you fucking hate just because you can draw it 0,5% better)
Honestly this is an excuse.
I know plenty of people who are not “naturally gifted” who do art.
It requires effort to learn. I feel you did not approach it correctly or think things happen over night.
Also hard work and skill is not “naturally gifted” as that undermines their efforts to draw.

Every single one of them is passing the buck to the other one. They're all complicit and they're all working to censor and ban you from consuming perfectly legal goods, as well as legally supporting creators you love. Keep hammering their asses.
To me the scariest part of learning to draw is going back to drawing after a period of intense self-hatred. I needed to learn to see value in my drawings again, after recognizing they all have flaws.
I'm so done. Tired of myself and of being a disappointment. Lack of skill is combatable only with more practice, but what will you do, if you see your drawings and feel discouraged from ever drawing again.

Black hair has always been underrepresented in games, but we want to change that 🙌
So this week we added 20 new black and textured hairstyles into Loftia!
