Current song: Born on the Outside by Refused

When I gotta place for my writing it goes here.
76 in its current form is a decent enough RPG that has more Fallout if you want it, or like me, just have a fondness for Appalachia. As far as TES vs Fallout? Of the most recent core entries, Skyrim has left a deeper, and better mark on the world than 4 has, in my opinion.

If you work in the industry, and you need AI to summarise a script, find something else to do.

I mean...SCP introduced me to the concept of "info-hazard" but apparently that oneys been hijacked by jerks. Thought virus, analytical contagion, that bit in Invader Zim when Gir hooks up to a power amplifier and he radiates stupidity, take your pick.

He had a ton of access to...well, everything. And as out of his gord he is, some of the crazier things probably stuck out. So it's a definite "maybe". Dude would lose in a poker game with a mirror, so I dunno, just a lot of waiting to see how it all shakes out info wise.

I feel it also helps that they seem really, really dumb. Ruthless, racist and violent. But dumb.

My favorite thing to tell new people at my job is "Don't worry about not knowing what's going on, nobody else does either." I've found it to be pretty universal for a lot of segments of the world.

Ideally, but, as I said in my follow up, if he has enough of them to throw at the sword in his place, he may think he has a chance to evade still. The kicker is I don't think anyone else will do as a "sacrifice" at this point, and he's gonna kick and scream all the way down.

I will add, with a moment of thought; the absolute best case scenario to me is an attempt by the others to get Trump to fall on the sword, and in Trump's attempt to not do so, he drags everyone down with him, and it just not working. Just wiping the board.

The biggest problem with it being Trump is that the man has spent decades avoiding consequences... mostly by throwing others to take them for him. The calculus that everyone else involved is probably doing is how to /not/ be the one thrown if/when it really starts aiming in Trump's direction.

The fundamental misunderstanding of this concept comes from a misunderstanding of the term "conflict."

Conflict is a word to describe situations and clashes of all kinds, not just ones solved with violence. It is a broad and neutral term. Hope this helps.

It's kinda a... confluence of several big angers for the average American, I think. Rich getting away with everything, Trump...existing, the obvious signs of corruption involved... it's so blatant and apparent with the Epstein stuff it's extremely difficult for the usual suspects to gloss over.

Oh that I've come to terms with. It's mostly...seeing what had been built for the boomers, listening to the "guarantees" practically your whole life, and just how rapidly all that means shit when the chips are down for them. That playing out in such stark terms across a whole gen does damage.

I'm a little bit hopeful that we'll be able to push through. Lord knows there's a lot of baggage everyone brings to this fight. At the same time...the combo of seeing vast crowds at No Kings, the push by Z and younger against racism and just the sheer ugliness displayed by the right, just. A spark.

This is a repeating thing that floats up when my wife and I talk about anything with our gen; We were told to do specific things and if we did, we'd have it made. The very second, the market looked grim, all of those promises became sand because it'd cost older gens "their" money.

The nation as a whole? It doesn't feel like it so much. But the people right there? Within distance to say/yell "What the hell is wrong with you?!" and not doing so? Or all the people in Congress /not/ filing impeachment charges every other day? Yeah, they're giving him a helluva free pass.

"Daddy can I have some milk?!"

" *Gets up* yeah..."

What I intended to say was that our country's framework is not set in stone, it's more akin to building blocks. Made to be adjusted and changed, even scrapped if necessary. My statement was not an "America doesn't need to change!", it's "America is /built/ on change."

I mean, if you're feeling adventurous, YouTube has a hoard of guides. I'm fond of Jayztwocents, he tends to keep on task during a tutorial. It's not as scary as it seems to clean, trust me.

The belief that this country can and should be better than it was when it was founded is the fundamental building block of it. The writers of the Constitution literally put in a system to adjust it to be better. That in itself is a concept worth fighting fascists over.
