This week's full of surprises (aka I pre-ordered something months ago and I have adhd so I forgot about it). Paprika the maned wolf just arrived! She's super soft and cuddly with her weighted tummy and paws and will get along great with Chocolate Chip the hyena. 🧡💚

The Bird Oracle book is heeeere! 🤩
Here it is with my other artful games from @shing.bsky.social, not featured is the fabric map from A Mending because I'm still working on embroidering it.

People always asked me what breed Jasper was and I always told them he was 100% stray muppet with some Main Coon-like traits for the fluff, size, and behavior (he was big/long, with big old paws, lotsa fluff, and lotsa love). They were often disappointed he wasn't "fancy". 🤣

My hoya pubicalyx is blooming for the first time in the 6 years I've had it, I'm so happy! And my tiny but mighty hoya lucanosa is also in bloom ! These are so fragrant in the evenings, similar to jasmine but stronger (my whole apartment smells so nice) and a little bit chocolatey I think?

May I offer you a fuzzy friend in these trying times? I believe it's a milkweed tiger moth caterpillar (Euchaetes egle) found on a hike in Quebec.
A milkweed tiger moth caterpillar (Euchaetes egle) on a milkweed leaf. It is about 2 centimeters long and very fluffy, its body is covered in bright orange hairs with tufts of black or white hairs sticking out the sides. It's very cute.
