Congressional Republicans just passed the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” — but there’s nothing beautiful about slashing Medicaid, Medicare, clean energy jobs, and public education.
This bill is reckless, harmful, and prioritizes the wealthy over working families.

Saddened to share the passing of Rep. Carol Doherty. A lifelong educator and fierce advocate, she dedicated her life to uplifting students, teachers, and working families.
