I finished reading The Book Thief last night. I had to stop for a while because I was sobbing so hard. All I could think of were the people being bombed in their homes at the moment in Gaza and Ukraine.

Just waiting for Starmer to say that he gets it, that he "completely understands" why they're concerned.

Why are people more bothered about the privacy implications of the Online Safety Act than they are about this? It makes no sense.

Do you know what's important? The police taking women seriously. That would save many women's lives every year in the UK.
Claire Chick was one. She's just one of many.
But you keep banging on about trans women 🤦

Every time I see a woman who's had her face cut and pasted, or pumped up with fillers, I feel both pity and rage.

The Green Paper specifically says that the new criteria for qualifying for PIP have already been decided, and are NOT up for consultation.
I've made my views incredibly clear to my MP. I got a "sorry but" response. Not enough Labour MPs will revolt.

You've mentioned the White Rose movement a few times. There's an excellent novel, Alone in Berlin, written by someone who lived through the Nazis, and who witnessed the costs of resistance. It's based on the true story of Otto and Elise Hampel.

That is exactly what Labour is doing. Somebody who is paralysed from their armpits downwards will lose their PIP under Labour plans. That is how brutal they are. This isn't from the headlines, it's from Labour's Green Paper.
