Their values-driven leadership is apparent and they are clearly dedicated to a cycle of continuous improvement, never resting on their laurels.

I think it's really difficult to judge how long you need to live in the context before enacting any meaningful change. This context is one where time needs to be dedicated to asking/listening, whereas others might need more/less time.

Without meaning to be reductionist, it also allows for easier comparison over time to see impact made.

Then follow up with 'You said, we did' or something similar to build trust.
