Using tried and true methods of research? Yes. However, autism is not a chronic disease. Unfortunately, current public health agencies are not being directed to address disease research in any scientifically accepted methodology.

Never pay taxes? Where should I go to get my refund? I guess my PHD is null and void now and I should tell my brilliant children there’s no hope.

Meanwhile, I have more letters after my name than RFK, and I earned mine.

Ninth grade math teacher here. I’m not a fan, and I never give midterms or finals. When you have one test valued significantly higher than the rest, you set up some students to fail. A bad day,l can trash their grade.

I maintain that many of the problems I see in high school could be mitigated by reintroducing play back into kindergarten. Critical thinking and social emotional learning are primarily developed these play in early years.

As a ninth-grade math teacher (integrated math) in a high-poverty, diverse district. I found myself nodding along with all the findings.

What’s the focus? Mine was on literacy, so Allington would be a good go-to. I, too found great fun in focusing on little, inconsequential details during that period.
