Exactly. Always thought that climate change will never be really addressed as long as capitalism is in power: as long as burning fossil fuel brings profit, the amount of CO2 emissions will continue to rise every year.

Means that the US creates all of its money out of thin air. In no real way do they "borrow." Spooky, but it's worked well since 1971 when Nixon ditched the gold standard. Check "The Deficit Myth" by Stephanie Kelton.

"National debt" is basically a fairy tale meant to scare those who don't understand how US money works. It's an excuse to cut social programs to "pay for" wealth-class tax cuts. Not necessary, they're just mean.

"National debt" is a fairy tale meant to scare those who don't understand how US money works. It's an excuse to cut social programs to pay for wealth-class tax cuts. Fact is, the US could have zero tax on the rich and still have strong social programs. Look it up.
