2/ Climate scientist @davidho.bsky.social created that dueling newspaper graphic for a post that has gone viral. He told me the headlines jumped out to him because “one was objective, and the other was trying to be neutral and finding meaning where none existed.”

Trump: "Hegseth is doing a great job. He had nothing to do this. How do you bring Hegseth into it? He had nothing to do with it. Look, it's all a witch hunt ... I think Signal could be defective to be honest with you."

Anyone else notice Trump is now back in the needling/ reflexive attack mode? It’s a tell. He knows he’s gonna have to fire Hegseth, but he’ll spike Waltz and deflect to ‘masks’ and other ‘woke’ symbols to vent the hostility building toward him.

He knows that if he uses the “depends what the meaning of is is” he’ll be good the end.
