Maryland is not paying SNAP. The governor is supposed to deposit 50% on November 11 but I don’t believe it until I see it.

I am in Maryland. My developmentally delayed adult daughter has been on SNAP for years. She did not get her money today. I can help her but this isn’t sustainable long term.

My breast cancer was on the left so I was concerned about damage to my heart with radiation. To his credit, my radiologist talked to me repeatedly to reduce my fears and showed me that the machine wouldn’t turn on unless I was in the correct position on the table.

I’m a breast cancer survivor. Thank you - this means a great deal to your patients.

Yes, it’s very disrespectful but Dr. Hayden will be fine. I’m more worried about what the Trump administration will do to the collection at the Library of Congress.

Where is the outrage, ALA? I shudder to think what the Trump administration will do to that collection.

What a pallid mealy mouthed response on your part ALA! You should be outraged. You should be indignant. Instead you sound like you are saying, "Oh well, nice job, too bad you're going." #CarlaHayden being fired calls for a NATIONAL strike of librarians, not a wimpy flaccid comment on your part.

Yes. Chatting with other women In waiting rooms, trains, planes, etc. is something I enjoyed. Not as frequent these days…

My daughter’s money came today, due on the 3rd. Wells Fargo “early payday” means receiving it 2 days early. I don’t feel confident at all about the next several months.

Don’t underestimate the impact of your book. You making the point that women should not feel guilt about spending money on what makes life pleasurable (travel, hobbies) made a difference with me.

The opposite of this is when someone tells you their granny had the same cancer, she’s still alive at 94, so why am I concerned about my situation…?!?

It took four different cancers since late 2021 to get me to see that God was always with me. It took all this for me to see it.
