A perfect weekend. My latest breast MRI is all clear. The weather is mild with a lovely breeze. I live within walking distance of an excellent Chinese restaurant and bagel shop. I’m listening to The Emperor of Gladness by Ocean Vuong on audiobook. I have what I need.❤️

While discussing my continuing post chemo word retrieval problems w/the nurse practitioner at the GYNONC yesterday, she said, “Cancer treatment can be very emotionally traumatizing, adding to the problem.” First time I’ve been so directly validated.

On my birthday, I can firmly say that growing older is a privilege. During this time last year prophylactic surgery found #ovariancancer which was able to be removed before it spread. I don’t take anything for granted.
