Interesting to find out my ancestor was appointed by George Washington.
Have always been drawn to art. Found out doing research that one of my ancestors was painted by Charles Willson Peale, the famous portrait artist. My ancestor, Daniel DeLozier, was appointed by George Washington to be the Surveyor for the Port of Baltimore. It’s ironic that I now live in Baltimore.
