It’s a power fantasy for weak men.

They cosplay as rulers while applauding their own subjugation.

I agree with you there. They didn’t take very long to review it.

I had never watched that show before, but just finished binging it in the movie over the last month or so.

I don’t remember what the dynamics were at the time it was airing, but it really felt like it deserved another season or two.

You two are high on my list of favorite people to follow on this site.

Tangential sentimental sidenote: I really miss those naïve original days of the NPR politics podcast in 2015 and 16 before the wheels really started to fall off this wagon.

The perspective on this picture messes with my brain. Makes me think the turntable and shelves are for ants or your cat is just huge.

AAL. I’ve always managed to be close to their hubs.

Who’s responsible for the idea that being revenue neutral/positive was a defining characteristic for a program being a success or worthwhile? Second question, who decides what programs are exceptions to that rule?

I’m asking rhetorically but also curious from a historical perspective.

Wild. I still think of it as new. Finally scheduled to fly on one for the first time in June. Can’t wait.
