LSU Press has a series called “History in an Afternoon” that is specifically for 30k-50k word manuscripts. I have an idea that I might be pitching to them myself down the road.

I get what you’re saying, but the administration needs to be held to account regardless. There are also major US companies—Disney, the NBA, etc—doing business with the UAE who could be pressured into acting en lieu of any diplomatic efforts.

I hope so too! And, I really mean it—easily the best experience I’ve ever had publishing with a journal. Thanks again for everything, and yes, I would love to work with you again someday, too!
