That would be a great class- clever title, too. But why “pretty”? How about “striking” or “unexpected” or my favorite “powerful”…
I took a science class for art students in undergrad nicknamed "pretty colors for pretty people" and we just learned about color both pigment and light and it RULED. Color theory is my absolute favorite thing I learned in undergrad and grad school. Here's 2 pages on it from a different encyclopedia
