@jeffmans.bsky.social I need one of these 2 to start in a flex tomorrow. Kenneth Walker or Khalil Shakir. As it stands I’m projected to win by 5 pts with either one. I would appreciate your input.

Disney/ABC just caved & pulled Jimmy Kimmel for political reasons.
Nexstar — which owns The CW + 200+ local ABC, NBC, CBS & FOX stations — is part of the same machine.

💥 Boycott Disney. Boycott Nexstar. Boycott their advertisers.

Hit them where it hurts: the $$$.

It’s Constitution Day. So, of course, Jimmy Kimmel’s show got canceled over comments he made that the administration didn’t like. And DHS Sec’y Noem went on an ICE raid where American citizens were detained. Read on for the update you need tonight: open.substack.com/pub/joycevan...

I regret to inform you that in order to understand the Jimmy Kimmel situation you may have to familiarize yourself with very boring things like a broadcast station megamerger and FCC ownership rules. I wrote about the Nextar-Tegna deal last month www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...
The $6.2 billion deal that could reshape local TV across America
Indianapolis residents will see three of its biggest local stations under the same company if the FCC allows the biggest owner of local stations to buy another group.

After Trump’s FCC chair, demanded ABC take action against against Kimmel for his comments on Kirk, Nexstar, the largest operator of ABC affiliates announced it would pull Kimmel from its stations

Then ABC said it was taking Kimmel off the air

Himes: ABC took Jimmy Kimmel off the air because Brendan Carr, the chairman of the FCC, didn’t like some things Kimmel said..

I’m talking to you now because I’m just getting so damn sick of people who claim to be for free speech but turn out to only support free speech for people they agree with.
