🧵this is actually a really interesting social phenomenon! What you're seeing with Hazbin/Helluva fandom discourse is actually a mix of psychology, internet culture, and identity dynamics. I feel like a lot of people have discussed this already, but I'd like to break this down; there's nuance here.
someone should do a study on why people are like this. why is it such a big thing in fandom to continue to participate in fandom while taking every chance you can get to tell people how much you hate the thing? is it some kind of groupthink deal?
I hate to break it to like 90% of the Hazbin/Hellaverse fandom, but if you watch all the material, know all the lore, and keep up with all the updates of your own free will... it means you probably like the show gorge.

This is the weirdest fandom I've ever seen because you will have full on cosplayers saying they hate the show in cosplay, while perfectly lipsyncing the lyrics. I don't understand why so many of you have such an aversion to admitting you're a fan of a piece of media as if its a moral failing.
