Controversial but these things drive me mad! Just booked a trip to Dulles for July and forgot about how tedious anything is at that airport 🥲 Main terminal architecture is the only saving grace.
Eero Saarinen's mobile lounges at Dulles were a mobility solution that “bridged architecture and transportation design," as @langealexandra.bsky.social put in 2006.

The lounges are a relic of the jet age that deserve more than a politically-tinged send off.

There’s a very good reason my guiding principle is “shut the fuck up and don’t be a dick”.
A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

Das BAföG ist kein Stipendium - sondern ein Rechtsanspruch auf eine staatliche finanzielle Absicherung für Studierende, die es benötigen.
Das ist kein Nice-to-have, sondern Must-have!

In 2023, YIHR identified 250 graffitis "When the army returns to Kosovo" around Serbia. Now 🇷🇸 engineer Danijel Dasic said that State Auditor of Serbia, during an audit of the Serbian Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, found that this ministry spent €217k for the murals.

Also hilarious that although I've been travelling or moving house more or less non-stop since mid-June, this is my first *actual* non-educational holiday since April 🙃 European labour laws are the best 😎
Vacation notice is finally up, and I'm thiiiiiis 🤌 close to getting in the car and leaving tonight for Italy instead of in the morning.

If you need me professionally before 5 October, don't.

Not to be a huge airport nerd but I just signed up to test Terminal 3 in Frankfurt early next year and I am so excited ashdfkljadsklfhadksjlfhalksdfhlasdhflasd

The test day in Berlin was so fun, this one should be even better because I don't have to travel five hours to the airport :P
