I do. I don’t have any intention to use the service. I saw they had privacy in mind and that it likely wouldn’t be useable for contact harvesting and decided I could move on.

They are specifically addressing privacy concerns and it’s an opt in feature.
If you don’t like something then it isn’t meant for you and you can choose to ignore it.

Many people have friends they don’t communicate with every day. Some of those friends may have different handles on different services, so unless you specifically bring up Bluesky with all of your friends in turn there is a good chance they might not know if all their friends are or aren’t on bsky

If you’re feeling feisty you can pull the copilot card and create empty commits that outline your plan before you actually enact it

I’m not sure I’ve got a good solution for you :/ - I imagine anything with any real power will drain a windows machines battery pretty quick

Some of the smaller qwen models have been okay in my limited usage - and I’ve heard good things about the Microsoft phi series but I haven’t used them at all

How powerful a laptop are we talking?

Latest MacBook Pro with a ton of vram? The gpt-oss large models work pretty well imo

I don’t think the chilly is supposed to go into the pants. Also how small are your pants that you can only fit two cans?!

Fair enough, I will admit code signing has overhead - but it’s possible to do with self signed certs (for example using a smallstep ca).
I set up ad cs as a learning experience so that’s mostly what I use for my home automation, but it’s only signed at home since I use my profile in other places too

Why not go the code signing route?

That sounds like a potential challenge, but conceptually a person who is suspended could still login and view their own account, settings, and skeets. So, in that case they’d just get a link to the skeet and it would only show up on login or if using a different app view.

My understanding was only legally questionable stuff was being deleted. The rest was just being hidden from view. So, for most results it would seem possible to return a link the user could look at still (even if it wasn’t otherwise public)

Do you need a screenshot to send a url?
Or are you just including both in the upgrade?

I’m proud of you Jerry. You should put the phone down now for the evening and be present with the family.
