Had a good chuckle reading this. If the Canucks keep winning Johnston will find new analytical tools to diminish their success, even if has to invent new ones when he runs runs out of the existing ones. If they win the Cup his 1st article will say its not sustainable & they'll never win it again.

Attended school in the 60s and 70s in BC & never saw these maps until you posted your thread. Is this another case of a Toronto based content producer saying "every classroom in Canada" but meaning just Ontario? I enjoy your stuff, but I do tire of Eastern folks considering Ont. to be all of Canada.

The announcement was for the Canucks training camp in Penticton - NOT the Young Stars tournament. I believe the Canucks' rookie are playing in a pre-camp tourney in Seattle this September.

Appreciate this is a massive undertaking, but spot checks on just 2 teams reveal substantial errors. Habs- Armia, Dvorak missing as key UFAs. Heineman listed as top prospect but not RFA. Canucks- Bluegar not a UFA until '26. Suter & Boeser not listed as UFAs & Forbort is signed but listed as UFA.

Serious question Dan, I'm not being snarky-but aren't the Edmonton Sportsnet broadcast crew Oiler employees? In Micheal's previous stops he has always worked for the club he did PxP for. His syle reflects that background. Also Gene Principe does commercials with Oiler players for various products.

Very informative. Where did the 10L dry bag with laundry go? It was the final bag you packed but the final shot of the suitcase shows the packing cubes on top but no dry bag.

Does Brady Tkachuk endorse Guerin's statement? If so, does he have a future as the captain of the NHL team in Canada's capital. I'm pretty sure if Quinn Hughes was asked he would avoid the question, knowing he has to return to live in and represent Vancouver. Tkachuk is maybe not that smart

What Garland did was absolutely intential and was a penalty, but please explain the rationale for a penalty shot, which is to replace lost scoring opportunity. Couldn't the Oilers simply give up possession & play last 10-12 sec on a power play (actually would have been 6 on 4 in this situation)?
