need to add some visuals to the prototype for readability, and maybe add a little bit more content, but hopefully next week i'll pop it on itch and we'll see if it's bums.
it's just fixed battles, no progression or deckbuilding. but it should be fun even in that state.

my cpu buddies are fighting again!
i've added damage now but it is very mechanical and dry. "score" from matches hits your opponents health and when emptied it pushes the stage up.
i've mostly been tweaking things. like, first version of this had damage offset, but i decided i like the entropy

have some unique (afaik!) mechanics now. matching gems upgrades those in the next queue. and upgraded gems can be matched in special ways (bottom left) to cast spellsss.

i was thinking about adding meta-progression to witching stone and this is what i wrote on cohost. ultimately i decided against this. the game has many unlockable options and maybe they're not in perfect alignment, but there is no big grind for flat power (and there is an "unlock all" button)
