A definition of who these units will be affordable for needs to be clearly outlined before the city signs away huge swaths of land to private for-profit companies.

If we were going to get serious about housing our unhoused, we would be creating more public housing.

Also unclear: I don't see any accountability here in terms of what they mean by affordable. A unit that is $3,000 is considered affordable housing for a household making $90,000. Spending 30% of gross household income on housing is deemed affordable by the Canada Mortgage & Housing Corporation.
