I will defend my patients, staff and myself at every turn, but with the current violence surrounding nurses, I will no longer NOT chart every time you call me a bitch for just doing my job, and I’m so glad in this scenario mine & my co-nurses documentation saved my ass.

As a person, other people’s opinion of me is none of my business, but as a nurse there’s 2 things I value, my integrity and my license. I’m well respected at work BECAUSE I enforce boundaries, say no, and give you the unfettered truth. I’ve been in this game 24 years, and I’m damn good at what I do.
