Book repair Saturday: After getting lost in transit twice, Monsieur Marceau by Schubert and Dubois (2012) finally made it onto my desk and into my collection. In very good condition, except for the cover which had some damage. I tried my best ... #bookrepair #picturebook #restisance #Holocaust

And two books arrived today to help me prepare for the new course I am teaching in April at TUBS. Excellent used-like-new copy of Halbey’s publication from 1997. Have not read any of his work so looking forward to his thoughts on ‘In the Night Kitchen’ #kidlit #Bilderbuch #Jugendliteratur

3rd book in my collection on #JellaLepman arrived yesterday: Jella Lepman and Her Library of Dreams by Paterson and Deng. By far the most extensive one of the three with around 100 pages. Hybrid longform picturebook and illustrated book. Love how Deng combined art with archival material. #kidlit
