Maybe. I came across a post that has me questioning the little knowledge I have about elements. If an element is already in its most basic form (ie, can’t be further broken down), then how can one element decay into another element? I hope I’m really not that dense but I fear it’s true

We got our furball from a shelter when he was 11 years old, cauliflower ear, tumor on his left hip and allergies. The shelter was surprised we wanted him because he had been at the shelter such a long time. He’s 15 now and getting senile and deaf but we love him more every day.
