He’s the most compassionate, caring, funny, and friendly human doctor I have ever known, and now I have to go look for a new pulmonologist and a new PCP.

When your doctor is visibly upset that he is losing you as his patient, you know you’ve lost a good doctor.

I have shooting pains down my leg, across my lower foot and into my big toe like it some game show.

And -thank you heart failure - I can’t breathe. I have an adjustable bed and the amount if times I have raised and lowered the damned thing, you would think it is a carnival ride.
