Why is it that when anyone interviews Trump and asks him questions about the tariffs and he replies that other countries are giving us tons of tariff money, they never correct him that WE AMERICANS are the ones paying the tariffs, not other countries?

I have several 'friends' who are magas. They think that what musk and trump are doing is not only necessary, but fantastic. They don't recognize the flaws. The lack of trained accountants, the use of kids with no security clearances into secured gov't facilities. Does not matter to them at all.
