It’s a real shame; one of my hypertensions is stories from the perspective of AI. And this author used to be one of my favourite examples.

The episode was incredible, I just forgot to post about it.

“This entire movie is so unbelievably incel core” is such an ironic thought in the context of this being the alpha edgy incel movie.

I love it so much.

I don’t even think the “show you my lesbian torture porn dungeon” sequence has to be wrong but you entirely can’t imply any kind of romantic subtext after that point get in the cold shower please.

The hive would be neurotypical people. Not as like a dig. A person with otherwise undiagnosed and or masked neurodivergence experiences a trauma. Loosing the ability to cope the way they had before. That can feel like all of humanity suddenly becoming a confusing hive mind with unclear motives.

Unrelated but I think this show is either about neurodivergence or it’s just about pluribus and any resemblance to reality or metaphor is entirely incidental.

Every time I think I have the metaphor solved, one of the weird quirks of the hive breaks my theory.

On the other hand I think 5 is going to play a lot better when I am rewatching the whole series together instead of waiting for a new instalment.

I watched episode 5 the other night and wasn’t particularly grabbed. I was here for the hive mind being mysterious and dropping hints but without the hive to play off the show just feels like it’s giving me nothing and expecting me to guess.

Is it a body? I don’t care.

Turns out vegetable stew is easy to make, keeps really well and tastes really good.
