Listening to #flybot and thinking about how, somehow, reducing the scale and focus has done nothing to help the authors problems. Is he using to much AI instead of writing? Something changed in his production process and I just can’t see the spark I once saw.

I haven’t seen the season finale of pluribus yet but based on the spoilers I have glimpsed. I am anxious about where they are going with this. Watching later this evening.

So I watched #Vforvendetta and like I need to read the comic book to clarify my thoughts. Because this film is pivotal drama, this film is high camp, this film is certified abuse core.

I haven’t checked in on wicked despite wanting to because I really struggle to square the fantasy epic with cool complex characters I keep seeing advertised and knowing that one of these cool characters is going to be randomly crushed by a falling farm house and having her shoes stolen.

I was so close to being mad that #pluribus ep7 wasn’t about anything at all but then it got to the ending.

There is this crossover going on between the predator franchise and a fantasy mobile game and all I can think is a fantasy character in a cryopod and wayland scrubs somehow looks way more out of place then the 7ft tall crab in dreads and fishnets.

I can’t decide if I am actually enjoying #pluribus so far. I really enjoy the premise and the setup so far. By about episode three though I am seriously wondering if I am supposed to be sympathising with the protagonist.
She is almost entirely right about almost everything but still suuuucks.

It’s probably a super low bar to pass because of what low fi is but I love the Apple Low fi playlist. Certified crispy.

I watched alien 3 last night to compare it to resurrection. IDK if this is a hot take but resurrection is a significantly better film than 3. They are both bad, resurrection is a bad alien film, 3 is a bad movie and not an alien film. It honestly feels like it’s trying to insult me.

I am having a surprisingly hard time switching my watering schedule from summer to winter. 2 weeks ago my plants where drinking water crazy fast and now they are all damp and might need repotting.
