pictured | the visually vibrant Morgan-Greer Tarot deck i use for client readings.

in my opinion, using the classic Rider-Waite Smith (RWS) tarot deck, or visually similar decks, is valuable when reading tarot for others, because the images are always foundational for conveying meaning.

in daily tarot card draws, repeat cards are often signals to pay attention to its themes.

this morning was the third time i've seen this card this month-- i see it as a nudge to acknowledge the quiet wins in my life that no one sees.

for people who enjoy symbolism, visual art, and psychology, tarot readings (also known as tarot consultations) are fantastic ways to receive guidance and a fresh perspective on your life.

every morning, i draw some tarot and oracle cards as a part of my morning routine.

in my practice, the death card never means anything ominous. this card means that something is being discarded in our internal life & that we are changing. the other two were about physical nourishment & stillness.

yes, i guide people through my tarot readings and refine my practice through learning. i also want to embody (live) the tarot.

the slower pace of winter is the ideal atmosphere for self-reflection. even though january 1st is the start of a new calendar year, it is a continuation of winter, so i don't experience the expected sense of renewal on that day. march is usually when i experience that.

much of the #tarot world will probably dislike this idea, but i stand by it: there's a right (effective, healthy) way and a wrong way to engage with tarot cards. a free for all approach leads to lower-quality results and experiences, but standards do keep these aspects solid.

“This is a model journalism needs: regional networks that see beyond state or outlet borders, circulate verified information quickly, build trust intentionally, and operate with the agility of people whose lives depend on it.”

grateful that this tarot book landed in my hands at the bookstore. it introduced me to depth psychology + reminded me that Carl Jung, a psychologist, created the idea of synchronicity, a spiritual idea.

what stands out to me in the FIFA World Cup Draw is the cultural mismatch between the hosts' prompting the audience to cheer as loudly as possible & the audience's preference to do otherwise. it's easy to forget that in some cultural contexts, restraint and silence from the audience signals respect

i came across an article about this book, which i devoured several years ago in two sittings, because it reminds me that personal identity has nuance and sometimes defies expectations

i draw a tarot card as a ritual every morning, and this was my first time drawing the hierophant card.

it's about wisdom + spiritual knowledge (the eye) from tradition (the pyramid).

in my 10 years of living in new york city, this was my first time seeing a #tarot card sticker on the sidewalk at around 12th street and 5th avenue (thursday, november 6 2025)

this is the High Priestess card, which means the boundary between us & the spiritual dimensions, is thin.

thank you for the kind response from my last #booksky skeet, it was a cool surprise!

i'd like to share my current read! it's a memoir, in the form of an essay collection, with scent & memories as a framework! (one of two)
