Tried using GameNative, an app to facilitate playing x64 games on the aforementioned Retroid. While the system couldn’t handle it, the prospect of an Android Handheld that could run Elden Ring or DQ11S through this translation system (AYN Thor, AGAIN) is tantalizing.

A couple of years ago now I decided to pick up an Android Handheld for some emulated gaming and found myself with a Retroid Pocket 3+ Metal Edition.
The plan was mainly to use it for some emulated gaming on the go, mainly some GameCube games I never got around to finishing. (cont’d)

I wish I could compel myself to start Like a Dragon. The Yakuza games are all great so far but being nearly done with 1, I’m finding the combat a little grating and would love some turn-based combat instead.
The worlds are so great to be in and hang out in, but that combat has some low lows.

this is the thing that got to me during trump’s first term. there’s no amount of “here’s a screenshot of a tweet that says the opposite of what they’re saying now” that will meaningfully change anything. the party line is whatever was said most recently.

I forget where I first read it, but I think about it every single day: the hypocrisy is the point. The people in power changing their minds and values whenever it suits them makes them feel powerful. And you’d be amazed how few people actually believe in anything other than power
