Oh the shiny beacon America once was…My favourite holiday destination. But it will be a long time before I set foot in that country again. If ever.

It’s shocking actually how quickly the US Constitution, its institutions and democratic norms have just collapsed. Both internally (for you) and externally (for all of us). And by evil people who used them to be able to do that. Exactly what happened in 1930s Germany. And we know what happened next.

Have you any idea how many (feminist)boomers have fought for women’s rights, civil rights, equal pay etc. There’s good and bad in each age group. Ones you agree with and don’t in each age group. Colbert is a boomer. Kirk wasn’t a boomer. Neither was his assailant. Don’t generalise.
