Happy Equinox to all residents of Planet Earth. Equi-Nox, from the Latin Equal-Night, proclaims equal daylight and nighttime. But refraction of sunlight in our atmosphere at sunrise & sunset gives us all a few minutes more than 12 hours of daytime.
