2025 Helsinki Biennale is an eco art extravaganza

My first day back in the classroom and my wonderful students surprised me with flowers and a condolences card, which brought me to tears given how public education is being challenged and threatened these days.

My mother, Elli Augsburg, died in her sleep early this morning on the 3rd day of being in a hospice facility after months of home hospice. She had been battling cancer and many other health issues for over 5 years. She was 87. She was an avid artist who late in life taught herself digital art.
