I am once again bewildered how one can read this article and not think well these people should have been attracted by social democrats. Oh well okay nevermind they didn't vote SPD in the first place, so it doesn't count.

End of the Merkel Era. Scholz was the last attempt at let's-not-rock-the-boat politics. Hopefully reverberates with the academia about trying to paint rosier pictures and shifting the blame.
