Did my first Worthing #parkrun for about seven months and felt great despite the wind on the way back. Now the marathon training is out the way, will try getting faster 🙏🏽

May you never have Amazon lose a package in transit in the run up to Christmas because of you do, woe betide you if you have to contact a customer service rep who will repeatedly tell you to wait two weeks before you can get a refund and NOT take any further questions on the matter 💀

Algorithmic terrorism - a new concept we need to learn and help educate others. In 2.5 years Elon Musk has turned a "global conversation" platform Twitter into an "algorithmic terrorism" tool X.
For over six months Musk has used his platform to incite violence across Europe with abject lies about minorities.

It’s algorithmic terrorism and has already led to violence in the UK and Germany.

How can we tolerate such intolerance?

Pep Guardiola and Man City are experiencing the ‘gradually’ part of “gradually and then suddenly” that Hemingway wrote of in ‘The Sun Also Rises’. The ‘suddenly’ bit surely comes when the verdict for the 115 charges is published.
LLLLLDLWDLLL

'For Manchester City and Pep Guardiola, this was another painful destruction, an unthinkable ninth defeat in 12. They have now lost six of their past eight Premier League matches, as many as they gave up en route to the title in 2020-21.'

If I was on #SubwayTakes this would be my take: if you’ve showered and are then still wearing your finisher’s medal after a marathon, your medal should be taken away from you and your result declared void.

#Malaga marathon done in 3:30, which is a PB of 2.5 mins. You’d think I was happy but I was hoping for a bit quicker. Lessons to be learnt before trying again next year.

Thread in which the estimable @alangreene.bsky.social gently points out that - on the face of it - those celebrating the regime change in Syria are in breach of UK anti-terrorism legislation.

Which perhaps tells you far more about UK anti-terrorism legislation than those celebrating regime change.
According to the UK's list of proscribed terrorist organisations, Al Qaeda is now in charge of Syria.
