Some of them aren't even niche. SEGA restocked the Yakuza Kiwami games physically & those were handled by LRG. I think LRG are harming retro collecting in general. Thankfully they are some good publishers to help indies or niche titles that release physicals (at least in EU) like Clear River Games.

I saw this video months ago talking about the bs they do & it's a shame that plenty of devs/companies still go to them. The opposite of preserving video games.

I never brought anything from them but my brother's friend pre-ordered the Doom Collection from them & it arrived in a year or 2 after it's initial release. It's absurd how companies like Capcom, SEGA, Konami & Bethesda who could publish it themselves go to them.

With YouTube its probably easier to interact because the discussion is mostly about the video you've been watching for 20+ minutes.

I feel like that sometimes too. Certain discord servers I'm in are better when it comes to conversations but it does feel like that when it comes to bluesky.
