Longrock/Tankerton a feature of the last 10 days has been the 1000s of Chaffinch & Starling &100s of Skylark migrating mainly west but also coming in off the Sea with Redpoll Siskin Reed Bunting Meadow Pipit. #kentbirding #ukbirding

Longrock SSSI A plumage tick for the patch with a Sum plum Great Northern Diver. This the the Goosander & R-t Diver all gave great scope views which my photo don't reflect. Peregrine was hunting Turstones. + Purple Sandpiper & Firecrest made for an enjoyable day @kentishplover.bsky.social

Tankerton in Rainbows (apologies Radiohead.) 3 Skua day with Bonxie Pom & Arctic mainly to distant for camera as rec shots show 1st Red-breasted Merganser of Autumn 1 male Eider 4 Red-throated Diver. 7 Little Gull. 40+ Sandwich Terns Finch & Hirundines battled thru the squalls.
