Ever since Titty sat watching one in Arthur Ransomes Swallowdale (I think it was that one) I have always wanted to see a real one. Sadly I dont think i ever will,but these are beautiful.

I'e replaced my old "bee hotel" with a new, bigger one, bought some bee cups for water and checked all the flowering border plants - the lavender seems very popular.

... what I really needed was someone to put down a fucking ladder. Still looking for the ladder 25 years later. But Mr Inces book has some glimmers in there for me personally. Enough that I was even contemplating writing some verse again for the first time since I was in my twenties.
