There is power in imposing an ending, even an arbitrary one. Things don't properly "end" in real life, they just flow into the next thing, but we are storytelling animals. We need things to end so we can begin something new.

This year has been perilous at best... I had forgotten why I even started doing art at all... I'd forgotten the storyteller in me.
May this year be filled with peace of mind, adventure and whimsy. I have many stories left to tell.
