As another bonus house rule, instead of increasing two characteristics at 4th and 10th level, and all of them at 7th, increase three characteristics each echelon up.
It’s the same total stat increases, but this allows dual characteristic classes like Censor or Tactician have choices at echelon up.

I think because generally, a greater portion of abilities and features are about doing negative stuff to enemies (both players and monsters). If you have 20 abilities doing a similar thing it’s a no-brainer to codify with a keyword. If you have only 2-3, it’s not worth the overhead.
