Propaganda TV channel Imedi aired a story accusing Georgian online media, repressed by the GD, of being an “underground network” that hinders the country’s progress.

This shot shows an Imedi propagandist Anuki Gumbaridze at the door of iFact’s head Nino Bakradze.

Today marks 22 years since the Rose Revolution - the day that reshaped Georgia for the better and saved the country, at least for my generation. I will be forever grateful and will continue to fight for its values.

I visited Brussels with colleagues from Georgian online media. It was a busy, important, and emotional trip, full of off-the-record meetings about Georgia’s political situation and future.

And It crushes me to see us losing our chance to be part of Europe because of an oligarch.

Today, Nino Datashvili was released on bail. She had difficulty walking and was crying from the pain. Her health condition had worsened in prison, and she now needs two surgeries. This situation could have been prevented, but at least she is no longer in prison.

Under the GD government’s repressive law, dozens were detained for blocking Rustaveli Ave, including 76-year-old Giorgi Vachadze. Judge Koba Chagunava gave him a verbal reprimand; a second violation could lead to criminal prosecution.

1/ So, if you are standing on the sidewalk on Rustaveli, you most likely won’t be arrested, but on your way home, the police will search you to see if you have a face mask, including medical masks, that could be used to cover your face.

I wrote an article about Nino Datashvili, a teacher and protest participant unlawfully imprisoned by GD. While her story is familiar to Georgians, I wanted to bring the information together for international readers interested in developments in Georgia.

Here is Shalva Papuashvili, attacking Publika and the EU, effectively accusing both of aiding criminal offenses. Every sentence is lie or manipulation.

This is the card—the announcement of the February 2 blockade.

The event has no organizers - it is self-organized by citizens.

I love chants and slogans from the #GeorgiaProtests:

"Police everywhere, justice nowhere"

"Unjust court, fear the people's power"

"Listen to the voice of the people, the people demand justice"

"Fire to oligarchy"

"Be brave like Ukraine" — This is the photo that Mzia Amaghlobeli placed on the cover of her X account. She is truly as brave and firm as Ukraine.

Judge Davit Kurtanidze is reviewing the pre-trial detention of 21-year-old Mate Devidze. In 2020, Judge Davit Kurtanidze ordered pretrial detention for Iveri Melashvili and Natalia Ilichova. Therefore, he is an obedient judge of the government.

TV Imedi spreads propaganda, lies, and hate, and they don’t even want to hear whistles during demonstrations they are discrediting. Imedi is not a media outlet - it’s a Russian propaganda machine.

Publika's journalist Mindia Gabadze was beaten while covering the protest.

The cameraman of "Mtavari Arkhi" Sergi Baramidze faced interference, was assaulted by multiple officers, and had his camera broken.
