A rare Alt History book I got my late dad (b1932) to read. He hated it. In your defense he is known in our family lore for:
(1) The Beatles..."absolute noise. Never sell as many records as the New Americans."
(2) Star Wars (the 1st one) ..."over rated garbage, lost money on that I bet.
