Early childhood educator. During the pandemic I continued to work with my kiddos. One 5 year old little boy looked at me one day and said "Tam, I don't know how you do it" when I said "do what" his reply was " make everyone smile".

During the pandemic I pulled back from social media and stopped watching mainstream media due to the negativity. I work in child care and I needed to be present for them. I was reading Dan Rather when I saw a comment about Heather Cox Richardson. I've been reading and listening since. Thank you!!!

Absolutely! I hadn't told anyone my thoughts, so when something arrived in the mail allowing me to donate supplies and a backpack to a Lakota boy, girl, or both, I thought it was...interesting.

In June of 2018 my youngest graduated from high school. That meant I no longer had children to by school supplies for. I had thought if I could find somewhere to donate supplies to I would. A few weeks later I received an opportunity to donate to a Lakota school. I've continued to donate since then.

One thing I say to people I talk to is the COVID shot is like a flu shot, it does not prevent you from getting the virus. It is meant to lesson the severity of the symptoms. I think people hear vaccine and think it's supposed to prevent you from getting any virus.
